Same music. Another device

Sync your whole collection or send selected tracks and playlists to another device on the same local network. Select what you need and click Share. Playlists travel with their covers and tracks, without duplicating files already on the receiving device.

FLAC and your other favourites

Enjoy lossless music in FLAC and ALAC, alongside MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV and AIFF. Your files play locally, so you can keep listening without an internet connection.

Consistent volume between tracks

Thyron evens out volume as tracks change, without modifying your original files. It is enabled by default and can be turned off in Settings.

Mini-player. Always close

Close the main window and keep your music with you. Skip tracks, pause and seek right from the tray.

WHY THYRON EXISTS

Your music. Your control

A music collection takes years to build. Access to it should not depend on changes to streaming catalogues or service terms.

Thyron was created to keep that collection under its owner’s control: stored on personal devices and available to play without an internet connection.

The same approach shapes the interface. Tracks, playlists and playback controls form its core. The priorities are responsive controls, clear navigation and as few steps as possible between choosing a track and listening.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Good to know

Can I import playlists from Spotify or other streaming services?

Direct import from streaming services is not available yet. Thyron needs individual audio files, and playlists are created in the app. A list of song titles cannot replace the music files.

Can I delete the original files after adding them to Thyron?

On desktop and Android, Thyron reads music from your selected folder, so the original files must remain accessible. If you move the folder, select it again. On iOS, imported files are copied into app storage. Before deleting the originals, check that the import has finished and the tracks play correctly.

Why can’t my devices find each other?

Keep Receive open on the second device and make sure both devices are on the same local network. On iPhone, allow Thyron access to the local network. Guest Wi-Fi, router device isolation, or a VPN can prevent discovery. Try your regular home network and search again.

Can I recover my music if I lose my device?

Thyron does not provide cloud recovery. Keep a separate backup of your music files for that situation. Local network transfer helps move music between available devices, but it does not replace a backup.
